Chief Scientific officer- Banglore for a leading Clinical Research organization

Situation

One of our leading Clinical Research clients have couple of molecules which were in clinical development phase, and they were new Biologics entity. They needed to have someone to lead them as CSO/CMO who can lead their clinical trial for all biologics research molecule.

Task

Since they did not have much time to onboard this Apex Leadership Technical resource, they contacted team HumaQuest to immediately close the position. Since in India, Biologics research talents are extremely niche and very few, this was a challenge for us .

Action

First we have gone through the JD in detail and set up a meeting with their MD to understand the key expectation from the role. After that, we started mapping the target companies and their respective parallel positions though there were very few such talents are available in India and that too at APEX level. Finally, through targeted approach and Leadership level R&D level network, we could able to capture four similar resources and then pithed them for the role and benefit from this assignments and made them agree to give their consent. First two profiles were rejected by client, and we could learn their specific expectation through this rejection and second two profiles have been accepted by them and we have lined up their series of discussion from India LT team as well as from US team to finalize and closed this position.

Result
  • Finally the concerned person has joined the organization with a CTC of 80 Lacs and with a designation of Chief Medical Officer role.
